ICC services for 1,200 social organisations throughout the Canary Islands

In Spain there are a total of 28’418 socail organisations to date, of which 25,447 are associations, 2’657 foundations, 267 religious organisations and 47 social banking organisations. There is a continued growth in this sector, some 2,000 more organistions are bought into the social tertiary sector each year.

The number of workers in the sector is around 197,888 with a further 733,709 contributing with voluntary work. In total this sector has approximately 1 million Spanish workers.

More than 1,200 of these businesses are located in the Canary Islands with 100 new organisations starting up every year. ICC offers a set of services for this important social and economic reality.
